Offering three generous bedrooms, a double and two twins, a contemporary family size bathroom with luxurious rainfall shower, a brand new modern kitchen featuring integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/tumble dryer as well as a spacious family dining area and cosy lounge with Sky TV and free wifi, Boreland Farm Cottage provides all the mod cons a relaxing self catering break requires. Beautifully positioned just 200 yards from the banks of Loch Ken, the lounge doors accessing the enclosed garden enable guests of Boreland Farm Cottage to make the most of those long summer evenings dining al fresco, enjoying a BBQ or simply soaking up the peace and tranquillity of the surrounding natural beauty. The farm cottage is double glazed and fully central heated throughout to ensure guest maximum comfort all year round.

Whilst in rural surroundings there are many amenities within a short distance, the thriving food town of Castle Douglas is just a 15 minute drive away, and there is a village post office, shop and pub located in our neighbouring village of Crossmichael just 3 miles away. The cottage is in a wonderful central location to explore the stunning Galloway Forrest and take advantage of many of the nearby 7 Stanes routes. If you are planning on bringing your dog, you won't be disappointed, as the Parton heritage walking trail is on the door step and many other great walking routes around and about. The artist town of Kirkcudbright is located just 30 minutes away, a wonderful day out with galleries, restaurants, a castle and a lovely walk along the harbour where you can purchase fresh fish straight off the boat.
